Athletic
Activities & Programs
Community
Sports Foundation (CSF) will provide a variety of sports programs for
our community to participate in. CSF feels that it is very important
for today's youth to get a proper amount of physical activities every
day. More than 60% of children ages 9 - 13 do not participate in any
organized physical activity during non school hours.
CFS
will create supportive, fun after school activities such as: Roller
hockey, Indoor soccer, Dodgeball, La Crosse, Flag Football, Kickball,
Volleyball, and Basketball. These activities will help develop good
fitness habits, reduction of stress, a positive use of leisure time,
and build social skills.
CSF
will provide a variety of programs for various levels of competition
and training. The kids will be able to participate in local in house
recreational leagues, club teams for both local and national tournaments,
trainings and practices with experienced qualified coaches, and numerous
camps and clinics will be taught by professional instructors. Programs
will teach various skills and techniques. Kids will also be informed
on the importance of physical activities and how lessons on stretching
and exercise can prevent injuries.
CSF
believes every child should have the right and the means to participate
in a recreational sports program. CSF will create a youth sponsorship
program for low-income families that cannot afford to pay for their
child’s activities. Hoping to encourage high school students to
go on to college to continue their education we will have scholarships
for college students who qualify for financial support through our program.
We understand that with the rising costs of living many students have
a hard time just making ends meet. We hope our scholarships can help
take off some of the financial pressures of today's college student.
All of the athletes will learn life skills witch prepare young people
to be successful in post secondary education and in the workplace.
